Meet the
Owners
Welcome to Berry Flats Fruit Farms! Nate and Hannah Wilson, and Nate Zenner recently purchased the farm in the spring of 2022. It has been an established strawberry farm for 22 years.
Nate Wilson was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan and has been a farmer all his life, specializing in the fruit industry for the last 15 years. Nate attended MSU where he studied fruit production.
Hannah was born and raised in Kingsley, Michigan where the Bauer family will soon be celebrating their Centennial farm. Hannah’s love for farming developed as a child raising family livestock.
Nate Zenner was born and raised in Kingsley, Michigan where his family also owns a Centennial farm. Nate comes from a long line of farmers consisting of cattle, corn, wheat, and other vegetables. The Zenner’s have a well-known and successful farm market on M -113.
Everything We Offer
You Pick
Fruit Stand
Our 10-acre strawberry field is primarily You Pick. Bring your own containers (or use the ones we provide), and your own pickers and enjoy a morning or afternoon filling your baskets. We charge $3 per pound for You Pick.
We will have some pre-picked berries available daily at our fruit stand. So, if you don’t have the time to pick your own, make a quick stop and grab some fresh berries. Cost is $6 per quart or $42 for a flat (8 quarts).
We now offer You-Pick Raspberries & Apples
